Store Executive

Background

Why

• Maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials and finished goods, implementing inventory control measures to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage and spoilage.
• Collaborate with the supply chain and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials, aligning inventory levels with production requirements. Maintain accurate records of stock, receipts, and dispatches using inventory management systems and ensure timely updates.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure all inbound materials meet quality standards before they are stored and utilized.
• Identify opportunities to improve store operations, enhancing efficiency and reducing handling time. Implement and uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards within the store area.
• Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and initiate corrective actions.
• Communicate with suppliers for timely material replenishment and resolve any discrepancies in deliveries or quality issues.
  

Skill Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) in store or warehouse management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a hardware or tech-focused industry.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining accurate records.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards applicable to store operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements in a dynamic environment.
