Storage & SAN Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Manage enterprise storage systems (HP, Dell, EMC, NetApp) and SAN switches (Brocade, Cisco MDS).
Monitor and administer storage pools, volumes, LUNs, NFS/CIFS, and replication setups.
Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot storage and SAN infrastructure.
Perform LUN/volume creation, expansion, mapping, host allocation/deallocation.
Manage storage replication and maintain high availability (99.9%) across DC, DR, and remote sites.
Analyze storage event logs and maintain firmware/microcode updates.
Handle SAN zoning, switch configuration, and availability monitoring.
Coordinate with OEMs for hardware failures or other system-related issues.
Generate performance and capacity reports for storage and SAN systems.
Manage incidents and requests related to storage infrastructure.
Conduct capacity planning based on current usage and forecasted needs.
