State Business Manager
(State / Regional Role – Industrial Sales)
CTC: Up to ₹5,00,000 per annum (Fixed + Performance Incentives)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead state-level sales growth across mining, quarry, infrastructure, and construction equipment markets. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in dealer network expansion, B2B field sales, and territory ownership.
You will act as the state business owner, driving distributor appointments, managing key accounts, and mentoring Territory Sales Executives to deliver consistent revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Own state-level revenue targets and market penetration plans
· Identify, appoint, and manage dealers / distributors / channel partners
· Drive direct sales with mines, quarries, crusher plants, contractors & rental operators
· Lead and mentor Territory Sales Executives (TSEs)
· Conduct joint customer visits, demos, negotiations, and closures
· Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and dealer performance metrics
· Gather competitive intelligence and local market insights
· Ensure pricing discipline, brand positioning, and reporting compliance
Desired Candidate Profile
· 4–6 years of B2B field sales / business development experience
· Strong exposure to industrial products, construction equipment, mining, cement, steel, or infra sectors
· Strong local network and local eco-system
· Proven experience in dealer/channel sales models
· Ability to manage large territories independently
· Comfortable with extensive field travel within the state
· Local market knowledge & regional language proficiency preferred
