Role Overview

State Sales Manager Telangana

Key Responsibilities

1 Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead and manage

    7 Sales Officers

    across Telangana
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly targets (truck-wise) for each officer
  • Conduct weekly review meetings and performance assessments
  • Ensure 100% reporting compliance: Morning Beat Plan + EOD report

2 Dealer Network Expansion (Core Responsibility)

  • Drive aggressive dealer and sub-dealer appointments state-wide
  • Strengthen existing dealer relationships to increase secondary sales
  • Implement state-level dealer schemes, branding & counter visibility
  • Analyze dealer potential, pricing, volume patterns

3 Market Development & Demand Creation

  • Build strong contractor, builder, mason & site engineer network
  • Conduct site visits, demonstrations, and product briefings
  • Track competitor movements, pricing trends, and market insights
  • Identify high-potential mandals and expansion hotspots

4 Sales Targets & Revenue Growth

  • Own the

    monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

    for Telangana
  • Monitor district-wise demand, pipeline, and order flow
  • Push for daily/weekly bookings from dealers
  • Maintain collections discipline and ensure timely payments

5 Field Operations & Territory Management

  • Design & optimise beat plans for each officer
  • Ensure each district has adequate coverage (12–15 visits/day per officer)
  • Make surprise field visits to check performance quality
  • Implement structured territory mapping for scaling

6 Reporting & MIS

  • Submit weekly and monthly MIS to management
  • Track KPIs: dealer additions, daily visits, sales achieved, collections
  • Maintain competitor database and pricing sheets
  • Prepare state-level strategy presentations

Ideal Candidate Profile

Mandatory Industry Background (at least 1 of these)

Building Materials

  • TMT Steel (preferred for dealer network strength)
  • Paint distributor/dealer network
  • Waterproofing / Construction Chemicals (Fosroc, Sika, MYK, Roff, Dr. Fixit)
  • AAC/Hollow Blocks/Paver Blocks
  • Aggregates / Sand / Crusher sales
  • Cement dealer field management

NOT SUITABLE:

Tiles
Pipes Sanitaryware FMCG Loans/Banking/Insurance Showroom / Corporate sales Pharma
