State Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Litigation & Case Management

Handle and monitor civil, criminal, arbitration, and consumer cases.

Draft, file, and manage FIRs, complaints, and legal notices.

Coordinate with advocates, courts, police, and other authorities.

Track case status and ensure timely follow-ups and closures.

2. Legal Documentation & Compliance

Draft, review, and vet legal documents, agreements, notices, and replies.

Ensure compliance with state and central laws, regulations, and company policies.

Manage documentation related to recovery, fraud, and default cases.

3. Recovery & Enforcement Support

Support recovery teams in SARFAESI, arbitration, and execution proceedings.

Handle possession, auction, and enforcement-related legal activities.

Ensure proper legal process in recovery and asset seizure cases.

4. Advisory & Risk Management

Provide legal advice to business, operations, and HR teams.

Identify legal risks and suggest preventive legal measures.

Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.

5. Team & Vendor Management

Manage panel advocates and legal vendors at the state level.

Review advocate bills, performance, and case quality.

Train internal teams on legal procedures and compliance.

Required Qualifications

LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university

Enrolled with the State Bar Council

Experience

Strong experience in litigation, recovery laws, and compliance

Drafting and negotiation skills

Case management and legal strategy

Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
