Role & responsibilities

The State Head Tamil Nadu is a full-time leadership role that will report directly to the organizations Lead - Operations.

S/he will provide overall operational direction, leadership and manage key stakeholder relationships.

S/he will along with the Regional Manager - Operations liaise with the global operations/leadership to formulate, drive, and execute on strategy.

S/he will collaborate with the Lead - Operations to be the figurehead of the organization coalition in State and will directly coordinate with a team of operations and will direct the expansion of cities, programs, and students.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates for this role would be expected to possess the following experience and qualifications:

• Must be an MBA or Postgraduate from a reputed university/institute

• Minimum of 8-10 years of business work experience in the skilling sector with 5-6 years of direct leadership experience is required

• Ensure high job placement and retention outcomes for our programs by ensuring candidates are prepared in line with employer needs and supporting employer discussions as appropriate along with business development team.

• Experience managing stakeholder relationships, including those with senior management at State partners, government officials and agencies where required, negotiating with external vendors and enforcing governance with implementation partners

• An entrepreneurial, creative, innovative, proactive mindset is required for organization that demands taking ownership of targets and seeking opportunities for improvement / growth of the program without guidance

• Experience with financial planning and ability to manage budgets efficiently

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English & Tamil.
