The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient flow of orders through the organization's systems and processes, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and minimizing costs. This role involves developing capacity plans, managing inventory levels, and preparing volume and demand planning analyses to support build-to-stock and/or build-to-order environments.In your new role you will:
- Fulfil orders, including order entry, administration, and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers
- Process orders and oversee related activities of third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution and alignment with the organization's customer service standards
- Develop and implement capacity plans to support build-to-stock and/or build-to-order environments, ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilization
- Manage inventory levels to maximize customer satisfaction, minimize costs, and align with company and divisional revenue targets
- Prepare and maintain volume and demand planning analyses, as well as supply and production schedules, based on internal and external information to establish and effectively manage an order backlog
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and production teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize supply chain operations
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in managing inventory levels, developing capacity plans, and analyzing demand and supply data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Proficiency in supply chain planning and management software, as well as Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, demand planning, and capacity planning
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports
- Experience working in DATA Visualization tools like Tableau
- Exposure to process automation and digitalization
