Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed systems and software.
- Experience with C++, networking, packet forwarding architecture, system design, systems infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Cloud Networking, TCP/IP, software-defined networking.
- Experience with packet forwarding and handling, multicast, SmartNICs and high performance data path designs and implementations.
- Experience in leading teams and projects.

Responsibilities
- Architect, design and implement data path engines a core component running within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Virtual Machines (VMs).
- Provide technical leadership to multiple data path application teams. Work with team leads and managers for individual projects to help determine roadmaps, architecture, designs and deliverables.
- Design, develop and create the USPS engines, the heart of our data path applications.
- Own and lead customer visible cloud multicast, Machine Learning (ML) networking capabilities. Innovate and contribute to a project with huge potential for cloud and ML networking.
- Support internal and external customers on issues they face, and guidance for individual teams in this endeavor.
