Industrial Staff Nurse (GNM / BSc)
About The Opportunity
We operate in the healthcare services sector delivering on-site occupational health, primary clinical care and emergency medical support to industrial and manufacturing clients across India. Our teams provide workplace health screenings, first-response care, immunization drives and health-promotion services directly at client facilities. We are seeking a hands-on, reliable Staff Nurse (GNM/BSc) to join our on-site clinical team to deliver high-quality nursing services in industrial environments.Role & Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical nursing care at onsite industrial facilities: triage, first aid, wound care, IV therapy and administration of medications per standing orders or physician direction.
- Conduct pre-employment, periodic and return-to-work medical screenings and occupational health surveillance; document findings and escalate referrals to medical officers.
- Respond to workplace medical emergencies, perform/basic life support (BLS) and coordinate transport to higher-level care or ambulance services as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records, incident/near-miss reports and confidentiality of employee health information; update electronic or paper health logs timely.
- Manage nursing supplies, consumables and on-site medicine inventory; ensure infection control, safe disposal of biomedical waste and adherence to statutory protocols.
- Deliver employee health education, workplace immunizations and collaborate with EHS/HR teams on fitness-for-duty assessments and health promotion activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- GNM or BSc (Nursing) with current registration from the relevant State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in clinical settings; at least 1 year of experience in occupational/industrial health or on-site nursing preferred.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR); skilled in emergency response, IV cannulation and wound management.
- Strong documentation skills, ability to maintain medical records and complete statutory reports; basic computer literacy (e‑HR / MS Office).
- Willingness to work on-site at industrial locations under shift/rotational schedules; strong communication skills in English and local language.
Preferred
- Certificate or prior training in Occupational Health / Industrial Nursing, workplace immunization programs or EHS protocols.
- Experience managing on-site clinics, biomedical waste procedures and liaising with external hospitals/ambulance services.
