DevOps Engineer (6+ years)

Key Responsibilities

• Own and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable software delivery.
• Architect, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment setup using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based workloads and containerized applications.
• Develop automation frameworks and integrate them seamlessly with CI pipelines.
• Create Python/Shell automation tools to improve operational and developer productivity.
• Maintain container build workflows, image management, and deployment processes.
• Implement and govern branching strategies, release workflows, and versioning standards.
• Monitor service health, performance, and reliability, and proactively resolve issues.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to streamline engineering workflows.
• Analyze cloud usage and implement cost optimization practices and policies.
  

Basic Qualifications

• Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services and architectures.
• Expert-level understanding of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD.
• Deep expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes components, workloads, architecture, and debugging.
• Excellent knowledge of Docker, container build practices, and runtime concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and how they integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Git branching strategies, merge practices, and versioning.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices.
• Good understanding of cloud cost optimization, right-sizing, and resource efficiency.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts: IAM, RBAC, security scanning, and secret management.
