SST Substitute Teacher (Grades 7–10)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE syllabus for Grades 7–10.
• Ensure completion of syllabus and academic continuity during the regular teacher’s absence.
• Use innovative and student-centric teaching methodologies to enhance understanding.
• Prepare, administer, and evaluate assessments as per school policy.
• Maintain student records, grades, and attendance.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Coordinate with subject heads and academic coordinators for lesson planning and reporting.
• Support students’ learning needs and provide feedback for improvement.
• Participate in academic meetings, examinations, and school activities as required.
  

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in History / Geography / Political Science / Economics.
• B.Ed. preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred.
• Strong command of English and effective communication skills.

Contract Details

• Position Type: Full-time, Temporary (6 Months)
• Start Date: November, 2025
• Working Hours: 6.45am to 2.15pm (Mon to Fri); 8am to 1pm (Working Sat)
• Location: Kanakia International School - CBSE, Bhayandar
