Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the logistics team to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of goods.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the planning and execution of transportation and distribution of products.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Prepare reports and presentations for upper management regarding logistics operations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management roles.
• Proficient in logistics software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards in India.
• Leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide the logistics team.
