Job Description – Sr Sales Executive

Location: Jamshedpur

Reporting To: Management

Salary monthly: 35K+

1. Role Overview

The Sr Sales Executive plays a central and critical role in our operations as we are a channel partner of mining equipment manufacturers. The position ensures smooth coordination between customers, principals, accounts, service teams, and management. The role demands accuracy, discipline, strong follow-up, and efficient communication.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customer enquiries; collect and forward requirements to principals.
• Obtain quotations/delivery schedules from principals and respond to customers promptly.
• Prepare and maintain sales documents—RFQs, quotations, POs, dispatch schedules, etc.
• Track orders from enquiry to delivery; maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Prepare MIS reports, maintain accurate data, and manage Excel/ERP/CRM records.
• Coordinate with Accounts for invoices, payments, and required documentation.
• Support service staff for installation/service coordination.
• Handle GeM portal operations—tenders, bids, documentation.
• Ready to travel for work; must have own communication and commuting arrangement (reimbursed by company).

3. Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; excellent data handling and reporting skills.
• Tally knowledge preferred; experience on GeM portal required.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in multitasking.

4. Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate (BBA/B.Com/Engineering preferred).
• 2–5 years experience in sales coordination, preferably in industrial or mining equipment sector.
• Experience with OEMs/channel partners is a strong advantage.
