Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kairana for a Sr. Officer - Accounts. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, financial transactions, and maintaining records. Responsibilities include preparation of financial reports, reconciling accounts, monitoring budgets, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. The role also includes providing support in financial audits and assisting in tax filings or related documentation as required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliation
  • Skilled in Budget analysis, cost management, and financial forecasting
  • Experience with Tax filing, compliance, and audit documentation
  • Strong knowledge of relevant accounting software and tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
  • Prior experience in a similar role in the manufacturing sector is an asset
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and the sugar industry is advantageous
