Role Summary
A highly accomplished and strategic Sales Leader is required to spearhead the sales function, drive business expansion, and build a strong market presence. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex commercial environments with confidence and foresight.
This role demands a forward-thinking professional who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution while fostering high-performance sales teams and strengthening customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and execute long-term sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Identify new markets, growth opportunities, and evolving customer needs.
Prepare annual sales plans, forecasts, and revenue enhancement strategies.
Drive competitive positioning through value-based differentiation.
2. Sales Operations & Performance Management
Oversee regional and national sales operations to ensure consistent performance.
Analyze sales data and generate MIS reports for strategic insights and decision-making.
Formulate pricing strategies considering competitiveness and profitability.
Align immediate sales targets with long-term brand and business objectives.
3. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team across regions.
Partner with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to support business goals.
Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Maintain team morale while navigating business shifts and operational challenges.
4. Customer Relationship Management
Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners.
Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction.
Manage negotiations, escalations, and complex customer expectations with expertise.
Drive initiatives that support customer retention and market expansion.
5. Market & Competitive Intelligence
Track industry trends, competitor movements, and market disruptions.
Recommend strategies to enhance market share beyond price-based competition.
Support branding initiatives with insights into customer behavior and market dynamics.
6. Risk Management & Execution Excellence
Resolve issues related to production delays, logistics constraints, or supply shortages.
Communicate transparently with internal stakeholders and customers to manage expectations.
Build contingency plans to ensure continuity of operations during disruptions.
