Sr. UI / UX Designer

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define product vision, user flows, and design strategies.
• Take ownership of end-to-end design delivery from user research to high-fidelity UI and handoff.
• Lead the development of wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and interaction models for new features and product enhancements.
• Conduct in-depth user research, usability testing, and data-driven evaluations to uncover insights and inform design decisions.
• Establish, evolve, and maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure scalability and consistency across products and platforms.
• Mentor and guide junior designers by providing feedback, sharing best practices, and driving design excellence.
• Advocate for and embed user-centric design principles within the product lifecycle and decision-making processes.
• Stay ahead of emerging design trends, industry standards, and new technologies to influence Skeps' product design strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility, technical alignment, and smooth implementation.
• Iterate on designs based on qualitative feedback and quantitative performance metrics.
  

Requirements

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work.
• Expertise with modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, MarvelApp, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. ).
• Strong grounding in UX research, persona development, and usability testing.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant design solutions.
• Experience in building and maintaining design systems at scale.
• Strong visual design skills, with attention to typography, color, and layout.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders and articulate design rationale.
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints effectively.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentorship and team growth.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
