Job Title:
QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing)We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with specific expertise in
Playwright and Selenium using Java or Python.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure application stability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and testing standards.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on testing methodologies and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3- 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Proven experience with Playwright or Selenium automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Manual Testing: Expertise in designing and executing manual test cases.
- Automation Testing: Proficiency in Playwright or Selenium.
- Programming Languages: Java, Python.
- Test Case Design: Ability to create detailed and effective test cases.
- Regression Testing: Experience in conducting thorough regression tests.
- Bug Tracking Tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Bugzilla.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- API Testing: Experience with tools like Postman, RestAssured or Karate.
- Database Testing: Proficiency in SQL and database testing.
- Version Control Systems: Experience with Git or other version control tools.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
