Job description
We re looking for a Customer Success Engineer, aka Tech Support Engineer, to join the team that sits at the center of our most strategic implementations. This role is critical: youll help large customers successfully go live with Amber by translating business problems into smart, scalable technical solutions and ensuring they stick.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead technical onboarding and integrations

    : Understand customer requirements and implement solutions using REST APIs, SAML SSO, SFTP, and other protocols.
  • Be the technical face of success

    : Work closely with HR and IT teams at enterprises to integrate Amber with their existing systems (HRMS, Identity Providers, Email, Chat tools).
  • Bridge product and customer

    : Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure what we deliver aligns with what was promised.
  • Create leverage through systems

    : Document repeatable solutions, build internal tooling where needed, and scale processes without losing quality.

Job requirements

What skills do you need?

  • Have

    2+ years

    of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Customer Success Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Implementation, or Technical Support).
  • Can speak both

    code and business

    youre comfortable working with APIs and debugging payloads, but can also explain your approach clearly to non-engineers.
  • Are technical enough to

    define a solution so clearly that an AI can implement it

    whether it s generating scripts, writing spreadsheet formulas, or automating manual work.
  • Understand

    how enterprise IT teams work

    especially around user provisioning, authentication, email infrastructure, or internal tooling.
  • Take

    strong ownership

    you proactively resolve blockers and push things to completion.
  • Thrive in

    ambiguity

    , asking the right questions and filling in the blanks when needed.
