Job Title: Lead Business Analyst – Finance & Data Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong finance background and expertise in SQL and ETL/DW concepts. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, financial reporting, and business process optimization. Prior exposure to the Telecom industry and familiarity with Fynapse (Accounting tool) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to finance and data management.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Create data mapping documents, testing framework for integration testing.
• Utilize SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Apply ETL/DW concepts to support data warehousing and reporting initiatives.
• Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Conduct financial analysis and generate reports to support decision-making.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure seamless communication.
• Support testing and validation of implemented solutions.

Lead Role Requirements:

• Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the Business Analyst team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of finance and data management projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Take ownership of complex business requirements, driving solution design and implementation with minimal supervision.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, manage expectations, and ensure clear communication of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Review and approve business requirements, technical specifications, and data mapping documents prepared by team members.
• Lead the development and execution of testing frameworks, ensuring high-quality integration and user acceptance testing.
• Champion process improvements and innovation in data analysis, financial reporting, and business process optimization.
• Act as the primary escalation point for project issues, risks, and dependencies, proactively resolving challenges to maintain project momentum.
• Support talent development by providing coaching, feedback, and training to junior analysts and new team members.
• Represent the team in leadership forums, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL/DW concepts.
• Industry Experience: Finance/Telecom industry experience is a plus.
• Tools & Platforms: Familiarity with Fynapse is desirable.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
