Key Responsibilities

• Lead Structural Engineering for Port Projects

  : Take charge of the

  design, analysis, and execution

  of key structural components for port infrastructure, including

• Project Management Consultancy (PMC)

  : Provide

  technical leadership

  and

  oversight

  for the execution of port infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to

  quality standards

  project timelines

  .

• Collaboration with Stakeholders

  : Work closely with

  contractors

  ,

  consultants

  ,

  government agencies

  , and other engineers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of structural designs into the overall project.

• Risk & Safety Management

  : Oversee the

  risk mitigation strategies

  and

  safety measures

  , ensuring that all structural designs and construction work comply with

  regulatory guidelines

  and

  safety standards

  .

• Site Supervision & Quality Assurance

  : Supervise construction activities on-site, providing

  technical guidance

  , resolving issues, and ensuring high-quality standards for

  structural integrity

  sustainability

  .

• Design Optimization

  : Implement advanced

  structural engineering principles

  to optimize designs for

  cost-effectiveness

  ,

  resilience

  environmental sustainability

• Project Documentation & Reporting

  : Prepare

  progress reports

  design reviews

  , and

  technical documentation

  for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience

  in

  structural engineering

  with a focus on

  marine and port infrastructure

  (breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, etc.), with significant

  PMC experience

  .

• Post Graduate degree in Structural Engineering

  , specializing in

  marine structures

  or

  coastal engineering

  .
• Proven experience in

  project management

  of

  large-scale port projects

  , including budgeting, scheduling, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in

  structural engineering software

  such as

  STAAD Pro

  ,

  ETABS

  ,

  SAP2000

  ,

  SAFE

  , and other tools for design and analysis.

• Strong understanding of marine structures

  , including their response to

  wave forces

  ,

  tide variations

  ,

  sediment movement

  , and

  marine environmental conditions

  .
• Ability to

  lead and manage teams

  , collaborate with

  multiple stakeholders

  , and ensure project milestones are met.
• Expertise in
