Job Description

Qualification and Experience

- Mechanical Engineer with around 10+ years of experience in Boiler Design / Design appraisal.
- Experience of working with PV Elite , any other design software.

Major Responsibilities

Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience and competency with the following:

10+ Years of experience in Design / Design Appraisal of Static Equipment.
In-depth knowledge of boiler, pressure part, boiler integral and external piping, fittings and mounting.
Knowledge of boiler process such as steam/water circuit and boiler equipment like deaerator, blowdown tank.
Knowledge of types of boiler such as FBC, CFBC, TG,WHR and HRSG.
Ability to perform strength calculations for boiler pressure parts such as steam drum, membrane panel, economizer, evaporator, super heaters as per IBR and ASME Section I.
Knowledge on review of pressure part drawing as per IBR and ASME Section I.
Knowledge of boiler material, material selection, heat treatment, NDT requirements as per IBR.

Ability to perform strength calculation for fire tube boiler as per IBR and ASME Section I.
