Your Impact As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will utilize superior knowledge and experience to perform complex product design, systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting and other programming activities. You should be a highly motivated and talented engineer with a strong desire to learn and grow your skills in developing solutions for cloud offerings and deployment. You will also be involved in cross-team planning activities such as providing status updates and coordinating activities. You are great at Core Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring REST APIs, Spring Security, JSP, Web application, MS SQL Server Design and build advanced Web applications with Core Java, J2EE. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable web applications. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Developing application codes and unit tests in Java frameworks, and Rest Web Services. Conducting performance tests. Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support. Knowledge of creating Docker Containers and using Container repositories. What It Takes 5 – 7 years of total experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring REST APIs, Spring Security, JSP, Web application, MS SQL Server Any degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a related subject Should have a deep understanding of Java Frameworks and allied skill sets. Good experience in SQL server enabled understanding and writing complex stored procedures. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON Experience with third-party libraries and APIs Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Strong knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices Familiarity with continuous integration Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Good logical and analytical skills OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
