Sr. Project Manager / Project Manager ( Civil & Interiors )

Key responsibilities include :

• To ensure end to end delivery of the project. To drive and achieve clean exit from kick- off to bill realization while at all times ensuring that the project is executed as per timelines, specifications and budget.
• To drive total quality as per the quality standards defined by the client and the company.
• To be responsible of all assets of the company at the site and supervise the management of the same.
• Managing project managers on a day to day basis
• Managing all projects to ensure that they are as per plan
• Monitoring the execution of project as per BOQ & detail drawings with given time line.
• Monitoring the project schedule & to update project activities on weekly basis to HO.
• Interacting with architects and PMCs for execution of work
• Inspecting the quality of work at site and assuring required progress of work.
• Anchoring on- site construction activities to ensure completion of the projects within time, cost and effective resource utilization parameters
• Reviewing work co-ordination among the consultants, contractors and clients
• Supervising all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction and coordination with site management.
• Supervising of engineers and supervisors for various types of jobs and resolving the bottlenecks.
• Ensuring that there are no client escalations and all escalations are addressed and resolved
• Identifying and developing alternate vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment and accessories and timely delivery to minimize the project cost.
• Ensuring equipment and materials are received are in accordance with quality and quantity.
• Maintaining project related documents.
• Ensuring implementation of proper Safety & EHS policies as laid by Exotic, Clients, accident free project execution.
• Checking of all bills related to projects
• Coordinating with HR team in evaluating projects teams performance.
• Coordinating with departments like Planning, Purchase with regard to the project requirement.
• Follow as a well as implement strict adherence to policies and procedures, standard operating procedures, operating manuals, work instructions and SHE standards is a must.

Work Experience

• Possess general understanding in the areas of interiors, civil, MEP
• Experience of managing small projects, or exposure to the end to end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle
• Experience of working within a structured project management framework
• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.

Work Based Competencies

• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
• Detail oriented, excellent prioritization and organization skills
• Good at time management
• Skill at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness
