Job Description

Design Coordination & Review

Coordinate MEP design development across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, ELV, and medical gas systems (as applicable).
Review consultant drawings, BOQs, specifications, and design calculations for accuracy, compliance, and constructability.
Ensure alignment of MEP designs with architectural, structural, and interior layouts.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact between MEP consultants, architects, structural consultants, and internal project teams.
Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve inter-disciplinary clashes.
Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives.

Technical & Compliance

Ensure designs comply with local codes, NBC, NFPA, IS/IEC standards, client specifications, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate approvals from authorities, third-party reviewers, and client representatives.
Identify design risks early and recommend corrective actions.

Project Support

Assist the project team during tendering, contractor onboarding, and execution stages.
Support site teams by clarifying design intent, resolving RFIs, and issuing design clarifications.
Coordinate design revisions and manage drawing change control.

Documentation & Quality

Maintain design schedules, drawing logs, and approval trackers.
Ensure timely submission and approval of drawings and documents.
Support QA/QC audits and design stage reviews.
