Job Description

Reads working drawings, BOQs, Contract, Specifications
Quantification of materials required for the project and informing concerned Dept. for material indents
Calculate quantities from AutoCAD drawings and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
Executing project schedule & update project activities on weekly basis
Calculating quantities of work completed / to be completed, from working drawings
Interaction with architects and PMCs
Taking inputs and records, work in progress from Site Engineers
For Non-Tender items, ascertaining the quantity of work done, carrying out rate analysis and submission through PM for Client Approval
Material reconciliation for materials supplied & used at site for each project
Keeping track of and Reporting on wastages in use of materials
Inspection of quality of work at site and assuring required progress of work.
Preparation & checking of all bills related to projects
Identifying and developing alternate vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment and accessories and timely delivery to minimize the project cost.
Ensuring equipment and materials received are in accordance with quality and quantity
To carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales.
Closure of Running Account bills and Final Bills with respect to the Contract Agreement and Work order
Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts.
