Sr Product Owner

As a Senior Product Owner at OneBusiness, you play a crucial role in driving product development and defining scope through the development lifecycle. Your responsibility is to ensure the early realization of product value and features by prioritizing development tasks, creating plans, and roadmaps using your expertise in product management and stakeholder management. Collaborating with a team of Product Owners and analysts, you will oversee the design and delivery of products within Business's portfolio, liaising with senior stakeholders to refine product scope and translate product strategy into requirements. Your accountabilities include operating as a subject matter expert in various product management activities, owning product development for a subset of products, and working closely with engineers and the Product Manager to define product feature roadmaps. You will guide products through different development phases with a focus on simplifying BT Business services, ensuring that product feature backlogs and priorities are well-documented and communicated across the program. Furthermore, you will manage the monitoring of launched products, provide insights for product development, contribute to product innovation, and mentor the team to maintain a balance between innovation, technical debt reduction, and maintenance. Collaboration with other Product Owners, elaboration of Epics and Features, and coordination with Solution Design teams are essential aspects of your role in delivering exceptional product experiences using Agile methodologies. Key skills required for this role include commercial acumen, product strategy, leadership, communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and proficiency in Agile methodologies. Experience in product domain knowledge, Lead to Cash (L2C), Concept to Market (C2M) processes, and hands-on experience as a Product Owner are expected. Additionally, familiarity with backlog management tools like Jira/Confluence and the ability to articulate roadmaps, progress, and risks to senior stakeholders are crucial for success in this position.
