Sr. PR & Communications Associate

We ‘SPRD’ the good word, and we’d like you to help us do it! From managing media relations for key client projects, online reputation management and effective communication/outreach across domains, you’ll be doing it all in a start-up styled, lean-team setup.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working in a lean team, driving excellence across clients while generating new ideas and leads to improve media presence & brand awareness for client across the board.
• Craft captivating press releases, media kits, and communication materials that tell our stories in a way that grabs attention and sparks curiosity.
• Creating and maintaining an ongoing media relationship with key influencers
• Ongoing media outreach and culling out opportunities
• Organizing and conducting Relationship Building Meetings with key client contacts
• Keeping your finger on the pulse of the media landscape, social media trends, and public sentiment to guide our strategies and stay one step ahead.
• Maintaining high traction on ongoing media coverage (Online)
• Listening into audience conversations and tracking sentiment
• Ensuring participation in events, speakership opportunities, and awards.
• Generating new ideas and leads to improve media presence & brand awareness
• Be an innovator! Stay ahead of the curve, explore new PR tools and techniques, and bring fresh ideas to the table that set us apart from the crowd.

Who/what are we looking for?

• A minimum work experience of 3 years (maximum 3.5 - 4 years) in PR or a similar role (Yes, Freshers can apply).
• Proficient in written communication, have worked directly in media relations (internships) and ideally, be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, PR/Advertising.
