New Opening Sr. PowerBi Developer 8+years Bangalore /Ahmedabad Skills : TSQL , DBT, TMDL framework ( should have understanding ) , Which database they have worked on like Snowflake ( What is data storage and on which platform you create Data Storages like snowflake ) , Rest Api's ( How to consume ) VS Code - not must , Azure Devops/ CI-CD . Role & Responsibilities · Translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions. · Build efficient and scalable Power BI datasets and semantic models using advanced DAX. · Create highly polished, user-friendly reports and dashboards with strong UI/UX principles (portfolio showcasing Power BI reports is highly preferred). · Implement and manage Power BI Row-Level Security (RLS) and Gateway configurations. · Leverage DBT for transformation workflows and data modelling. · Develop and optimize Snowflake SQL scripts for data preparation and reporting layers. · Utilize Power BI REST APIs for administrative automation (experience with APIs is a strong plus). · Contribute to the setup and enforcement of best practices around Power BI development, administration and governance. · Actively participate in Agile development ceremonies; experience with DevOps in Agile environments is a plus. · Proactively identify improvements, risks, and issues and drive solutions independently. · Maintain high attention to detail in all aspects of work to ensure data accuracy and design precision. Competencies and Technical Skills · DAX expertise: Must be very strong and experienced in solving complex business needs. · DBT (Data Build Tool): Hands-on experience with data transformations and modelling. · Snowflake SQL: Proficient in writing and optimizing queries for large datasets. · Power BI Reporting (UI/UX): Proven experience building visually compelling and user-centric dashboards; strong design portfolio required. · Azure DevOps/GIT integration: Familiarity with integrating Power BI development into CI/CD pipelines. · Power BI Administration: Including workspace management, tenant settings, deployment pipelines, and REST API usage. · Advanced Power BI Modelling: Experience with Calculation Groups, Dynamic Field Parameters, and performance optimization techniques. · Communication Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders. · Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical thinking and proactive mindset to drive solutions. · Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous in data validation, visualization alignment, and UX considerations. · Data Architecture Design : Ability to independently design and drive the development of scalable data architecture based on feature specifications and business requirements from the Product team, ensuring alignment with reporting and analytics needs.
