About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Performance Test Engineer to design, execute, and optimize performance, load, and stress tests for web, API, and AI-based applications. This includes performance testing AI model APIs that process and consume large datasets. The role involves analyzing bottlenecks, tuning systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-performing, scalable software.

Key Skills

• Performance Testing Tools: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, Locust

• Monitoring & APM: Grafana, Kibana, New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics

• AI/ML Performance: Testing AI model APIs, dataset ingestion, inference latency measurement

• Languages: Java, JavaScript, or Python

• CI/CD & Version Control: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git

• Expertise: Workload modeling, performance engineering, capacity planning

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain performance test scripts for AI model APIs, web, and enterprise apps.

• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing, including model inference speed and data processing performance.

• Analyze performance metrics to identify and resolve bottlenecks in application, database, and AI model layers.

• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Produce detailed reports and recommendations for both traditional and AI-based systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

4–9 years of hands-on performance testing and engineering experience.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across application, database, infrastructure, and AI inference layers.
