Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Oracle Database Developer with over 10 years of proven expertise in Oracle database architecture, development, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should possess strong PL/SQL programming skills, data modeling proficiency, and deep understanding of Oracle features, tools, and best practices for enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into database solutions and enhancements.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries and database performance.
• Develop and maintain data models, ER diagrams, and schemas.
• Work closely with application developers to design efficient database structures.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and high availability of Oracle environments.
• Manage database deployments, migrations, and release cycles.
• Implement backup strategies, recovery processes, and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor database health, logs, and system metrics regularly.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c).
• Expert-level PL/SQL development skills.
• Strong background in data modeling, normalization, and schema design.
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of Oracle tools: SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, AWR, Statspack, TKPROF, etc.
• Proficient in writing complex stored procedures and scripts for ETL, data processing, and automation.
• Exposure to Oracle Apex, Forms/Reports (optional but preferred).
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud-based Oracle databases (OCI, AWS RDS for Oracle, Azure).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools.
• Oracle certifications (OCP/OCA) are a plus.
