Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Sr. Officer – HR to oversee Human Resource operations in our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to Industrial Relations (IR), Statutory Compliance, Labour Laws, and factory safety norms. This role requires someone who is comfortable interacting with workers, ensuring labour discipline, and maintaining a healthy industrial environment while aligning with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Industrial Relations (IR)

  • Maintain harmonious employee relations at the shop-floor level.
  • Handle worker grievances, misconduct cases, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Liaise with contract labour providers and ensure compliance with CLRA norms.
  • Build rapport with workers, supervisors, and union representatives (if any).
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives, communication, and conflict resolution.

2. Statutory Compliance & Labour Law Management

  • Ensure 100% compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable labour laws.
  • Maintain statutory records and registers as per Factories Act & relevant laws.
  • Coordinate with statutory authorities during inspections, audits, and submissions.
  • Prepare monthly compliance MIS and documentation required for internal/external audits.

3. HR Operations

  • Manage attendance, leave administration, overtime records, and HR documentation.
  • Support the recruitment of workmen/operators/supervisors as required.
  • Handle onboarding, induction, and worker training programs.
  • Monitor contract workforce attendance, billing, documentation, and compliance.
  • Assist in performance monitoring and workforce planning.

4. Safety & Factory Norms

  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines in coordination with Safety Officer.
  • Oversee PPE issuance, safety training sessions, and accident reporting.
  • Promote safe work practices and coordinate safety compliance documentation.
  • Maintain knowledge of factory rules and environmental norms relevant to operations.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Industrial Relations and shop-floor workforce management.
  • Sound understanding of Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, CLRA, ESIC, PF, and other labour compliances.
  • Ability to handle statutory inspections confidently and professionally.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
  • Good command over MS Office, HR documentation, and compliance software.
  • Ability to remain calm, firm, and objective during conflict situations.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate / Post Graduate in HR, Labour Welfare, or Industrial Relations.
  • Additional certifications in Labour Law or Industrial Safety will be an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
