Officer – Audit & Costing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Semi-Qualified Chartered or Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in cost management, financial analysis, and decision-making support, while ensuring compliance with statutory and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Analysis & Reporting:
• Assist in preparing cost statements, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Monitor and control costs for various departments and projects.
• Analyse overhead costs, material costs, and operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with cost control procedures and policies.
• Financial Planning & Support:
• Support in the preparation of financial plans, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
• Provide data-driven insights to aid management decisions.
• Work closely with procurement, operations, and other departments to ensure cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

Qualifications:

• Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter) or Cost Accountant (CMA Inter) or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of costing techniques, financial analysis, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Costing techniques
• Knowledge in GST, TDS, and other Indian tax regulations is an advantage.
• Exposure to service industries is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cost audit and compliance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
