ob Description – Network Administrator

Position: Network Administrator
Qualification: BE / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field
Experience: Minimum 5 years (preferably with OEM exposure)
Location: Trivandrum Kerala
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VPN, Load Balancers).
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
Perform installation, upgrades, and patching of network devices in line with OEM best practices.
Work closely with OEM vendors for escalations, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and support.
Implement and enforce network security policies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access control.
Manage IP addressing, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and network segmentation (VLANs, MPLS).
Conduct periodic network audits, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
Provide L2/L3 support for incidents and service requests.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
Support disaster recovery planning and implementation of high-availability solutions.

Required Skills & Expertise

Strong knowledge of Cisco / Juniper / Aruba / Palo Alto / Fortinet or other OEM networking technologies.
Hands-on experience with Routing & Switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).
Experience with firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, Load balancers, Wireless Controllers.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.).
Understanding of cloud networking (AWS / Azure) and hybrid environments.
Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
OEM certifications (preferred):
Cisco (CCNP/CCIE)
Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE
Fortinet NSE4+
Palo Alto PCNSE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
