Sr. MEP Engineer

Position: Senior MEP Engineer

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E / B.Tech).
• Postgraduate qualifications or additional certifications in MEP services will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP design and execution.
• Strong technical expertise in Electrical systems with working knowledge of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems.
• Prior experience in handling medium to large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Documentation:

• Prepare and review electrical design drawings, load schedules, schematics, and layouts.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with relevant codes, IS standards, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, and other services consultants for design integration.

Project Coordination & Execution:

• Manage MEP works from concept to commissioning.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely execution.

Technical & Compliance:

• Carry out electrical load calculations, cable sizing, panel board design, earthing, and lighting system design.
• Ensure safety standards, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices in design and execution.
• Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and cost estimates.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Participate in project review meetings with clients and consultants.
• Provide technical support and resolve design/site issues as required.
• Ensure smooth communication and coordination across all project stakeholders.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, ETAP (or equivalent software).
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Codes, NBC, and relevant IS/IEC standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
