Role Overview:
The role oversees the end-to-end admissions process for WISE programs, staffing, and industry partnerships, ensuring compliance with academic and regulatory norms. It involves leading the admissions team, streamlining processes through SOPs, maintaining accurate data, and generating
reports for performance tracking. The position also coordinates with stakeholders, manages special admission cases, and ensures timely resolution of student queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the end-to-end admission process for WISE programs, staffing initiatives, and industry partnership channels.
- Leading and supervising a team of admission executives, ensuring effective performance tracking and goal achievement.
- Scrutinizing applications, verifying eligibility criteria, and ensuring submission of all required admission documents.
- Issuing admission letters and maintaining accurate applicant records in line with academic and regulatory requirements.
- Preparing and presenting daily, weekly, and monthly reports using data analytics tools and dashboards for tracking trends and performance.
- Collaborating with internal teams, academic departments, university officials, and industry partners for ensuring smooth admission operations.
- Developing and implementing SOPs, admission timelines, and process guidelines for ensuring operational efficiency and consistency.
- Coordinating special cases, including lateral entry, international admissions, and academic exceptions.
- Ensuring strict compliance with UGC, AICTE, and other higher education regulatory norms.
- Addressing and resolving student queries and grievances related to admissions in a timely and professional manner.
- Supporting audit and leadership requirements by maintaining updated admission data, records, and dashboards.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Postgraduate degree (MBA/MA or equivalent).
- 8 12 years of relevant experience in university admission operations.
- Strong knowledge of admission policies and higher education processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, ERPs, LMS platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and representation skills.
- Leadership abilities with proven experience in motivating and managing a team.
