Sr. Manager / VP - Regulatory Compliance

As a Sr. Manager / VP - Regulatory Compliance at the Leading Private Bank in Navi Mumbai, your role involves: You will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day compliance with regulatory requirements from authorities such as RBI, PMLA, UIDAI, NPCI, CKYC, etc. by disseminating regulatory guidelines, maintaining compliance trackers, and ensuring timely follow-up and closure of open items. Additionally, you will coordinate the circulation of regulatory correspondences to internal teams and submit accurate responses to regulators, updating compliance activities to executive and board-level committees regularly. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure day-to-day compliance with regulatory requirements from authorities such as RBI, PMLA, UIDAI, NPCI, CKYC, etc. - Coordinate the circulation of regulatory correspondences to internal teams and submit accurate responses to regulators. - Manage end-to-end compliance testing, including planning, execution, documentation of results, and tracking closure of observations. - Provide compliance oversight and input across various functions. - Review new product proposals, evaluate contracts with vendors and partners, facilitate internal audits, and ensure timely closure of audit reports and findings. - Coordinate with relevant departments on RBS audits, disseminate audit findings, and ensure timely resolution of observations. - Maintain comprehensive dashboards and trackers to monitor Action Taken Reports (ATRs), open compliance items, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and closure timelines related to observations from compliance testing. - Prepare and manage documentation for high-level committee interactions. - Draft presentations and briefing notes for Board, Board Committees, and Management Committee meetings. - Validate that minutes of committee meetings accurately reflect discussions and decisions made.
