- Designing, implementing, debugging firmware for the next generation storage devices (SD, USB, SATA)
- It includes arriving at algorithms and schemes to cater to the product requirements in alignment with the limitations enforced by the System architecture
- Will be technically driving 10+ member team on feature development and stabilization
- Mentor junior engineers and NCGs
- Provide high level scoping and effort estimates for FW features
Qualifications
- Requires BE/BTech degree or equivalent or higher with 12+ years of work experience in FW development field
- Embedded C language experience required
- Must have strong problem-solving skills; experience using logic and protocol analyzers is preferred
- Having experience with FTL and NAND flash or protocols like SD/USB/SATA is highly desirable.
- Ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.
- Proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience of Flash Technology will be an added advantage.
- Deep understanding of Storage Stack/Data path is desirable.
