The Integration Consultant will be responsible for designing and delivering integration solutions for various U.S.-based clients, ensuring seamless interfacing with UKG products. This role requires strong expertise in Human Capital Management (HCM) and hands-on experience with Boomi to develop Next Gen integration solutions. The ideal candidate will follow a structured implementation methodology to achieve project milestones and deadlines.A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to resolve API-related issues.Key Responsibilities
Analyze client requirements from specification documents and develop Next Gen integrations using Boomi.Communicate progress and updates to peers and on-site stakeholders via JIRA.Act as a trusted advisor to the team, delivering high-quality integration solutions.Perform coding, testing, and deployment of interfaces; experience with GitHub is required.Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Manage production deployments.Upgrade and migrate existing integrations from other technologies to Boomi.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of UKG solutions to ensure successful upgrades and deployments.Be flexible with work hours to accommodate evening calls with clients and U.S.-based teams, especially during major releases and upgrades.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.3–5 years of relevant industry experience.Proven experience in building integrations using Boomi and familiarity with SDLC.Strong domain knowledge in HCM is highly desirable.Experience across the full integration lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy, and scheduling.Familiarity with REST APIs, SOAP, XML, and web service design is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Where we’re goingUKG is on the cusp of something truly special.
