Your Role

As our Senior Golang Backend Engineer, you will take the lead in designing, developing, and optimizing backend services that power our products. You'll leverage your expertise in Go, microservices, cloud technologies, and distributed systems to build robust and scalable solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:Designing & Developing scalable and high-performance backend services using Go.Optimizing Systems for reliability, efficiency, and maintainability.Establishing Technical Standards to ensure best practices in development, testing, and deployment.Mentoring & Code Reviews to uplift team capabilities and improve overall code quality.Monitoring & Troubleshooting using observability tools like DataDog, Prometheus, or New Relic.Cross-Team Collaboration on API design, integration, and architecture decisions.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:Experience: Min 4+ years of backend development experienceGolang Expertise: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with GoCloud & Serverless: Proficiency with AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and SQSContainerisation & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing servicesMicroservices & Distributed Systems: Strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining microservices architecturesConcurrency & Performance: Deep understanding of concurrent programming patterns and performance optimization techniquesDomain-Driven Design (DDD): Practical experience applying DDD principles in software designTesting & Quality Assurance: Expertise in automated testing frameworks, TDD, and BDDCI/CD & DevOps: Familiarity with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins for continuous integration and deploymentMonitoring & Observability: Experience with centralized logging (ELK Stack) and distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry)Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work in cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, articulate technical concepts effectively, and Must be fluent in English communication.Agile Development: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments for iterative development and continuous improvementSkills: aws lamda,serverless architecture,micro services archiitechture,go (golang),restful apis
