Job Description

Key Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, including file servers, domain controllers, and application servers. Configure and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure network security and data protection through proper firewall rules, antivirus systems, and backup solutions. Administer user accounts, permissions, and Group Policies via Active Directory. Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and periodic testing. Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues for LAN/WAN and VPN users. Support IT operations including hardware/software installations, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. Maintain IT documentation related to network diagrams, asset inventory, and SOPs. Coordinate with vendors for procurement, AMC, and technical support when necessary. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2–5 years of proven experience in server administration and network support. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking protocols (TCP/IP). Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security tools. Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
