Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Business Development and Sales function for our Construction Chemicals division. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing growth strategies, expanding market presence, and driving revenue generation through key client acquisition, channel development, and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy for construction chemicals at a national level.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales and business development team.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, consultants, and distributors.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Lead pricing, negotiation, and contract finalization with clients.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to support product development based on market demand.
  • Achieve revenue and profitability targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of the construction chemicals industry (admixtures, waterproofing, sealants, coatings, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to think strategically and drive business results
  • Tech-savvy with a strong understanding of CRM tools and reporting systems
  • Willingness to travel across regions

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry / Civil Engineering / Chemical Engineering
  • MBA in Marketing / Business Management preferred

Experience:

  • 15 to 25 years of experience in sales and business development in the construction chemicals segment
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (GM / AVP / VP)
