Job Title: Sr. Executive - EHS Department: EHS Reports To (Designation): Deputy-Manager EHS Shift Timings & Time Zone: Regular shift (Monday to Saturday) Key Roles & Responsibilities Prepare and submit KSPCB Monthly/Yearly returns (Form-3, Form-4, Form-5, Form-10) in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Ensure proper management of Biomedical waste and adherence to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements. Maintain accurate records of environmental compliance and report discrepancies to the relevant authorities. Conduct regular mock drills to ensure preparedness for fire, evacuation, and other emergency scenarios. Ensure that safety systems align with IMS standards and requirements. Prepare and implement HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) to evaluate and mitigate workplace risks. Conduct EHS awareness training programs, including induction training, fire safety training, and first-aid training for employees. Ensure all employees are familiar with safety protocols, emergency procedures, and safe work practices. Oversee and maintain fire safety systems, including fire detectors, hydrants, sprinklers, and flooding systems. Organize and coordinate medical examinations for employees as per regulatory guidelines and company policy. Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to STP (Sewage Treatment Plants) and ETP (Effluent Treatment Plants). Lead accident investigations by determining the root cause of incidents, documenting findings, and reporting to management. Preferred Skills Primary Skills Strong knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and practices. Ability to conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis in case of accidents. Proficiency in fire safety systems and emergency preparedness. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and coordinate with employees. Good knowledge of IMS systems Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple safety priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of STP/ETP operations and environmental management systems. Secondary Skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in managing first aid centers and medical examinations for employees. Education Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Safety Management, Industrial Engineering/ Industrial Safety or relevant field. Post Graduation Diploma in Industrial Safety. Certifications in Safety preferred. Experience Range 4 – 6 Years in safety management within the heavy manufacturing industry.
