Position Title: Senior Executive Civil & Interior Designer/Engineer
Department: Project Development Services
Reports To: Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager
Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Sr. Executive Civil & Interior professional to support our Project team in delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions and interior design concepts for residential real estate projects. This role combines technical civil engineering fundamentals with interior space planning and design coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Civil Engineering Support: Assist in site analysis, grading plans, and utility coordination for development projects. Support preparation of civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. Collaborate on stormwater management, parking layout design, and site accessibility compliance. Participate in permit application processes and regulatory submissions.
Interior Design Coordination: Develop space planning concepts and furniture layouts for commercial spaces. Create interior design presentations and material specification documents. Coordinate with architects and contractors on interior build-out projects. Support tenant improvement projects from concept through construction administration.
Project Administration: Maintain project documentation and drawing sets throughout design phases. Participate in client meetings and design review sessions. Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Track project schedules and deliverable deadlines.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's / Diploma degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or interior design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Civil 3D and SketchUp experience preferred. Knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and municipal design standards. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
