Responsibilities

Architect and manage AWS infrastructure (EKS/ECS, MongoDB, VPC, ALB/NLB, ElastiCache, etc.)
Define and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines ensuring zero-downtime deployments (Blue/Green, Canary)
Establish monitoring, logging, and observability with CloudWatch, ELK/Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing
Manage real-time messaging and streaming platforms (Kafka, Socket.io)
Implement scaling strategies including auto-scaling, caching layers, and multi-region failover
Enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, WAF, TLS, Secrets Manager, audit logging)
Support disaster recovery and business continuity (backups, snapshots, multi-region strategies)
Collaborate with backend, data, and mobile teams to optimize performance and reliability

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
Proven expertise in AWS services (EKS/ECS, MongoDB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
Strong skills with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation)
Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins)
Solid knowledge of monitoring & logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch)
Experience with real-time data pipelines (Kafka, Socket.io, Redis)
Proficiency in MongoDB administration, sharding, and performance tuning
Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and cloud security
Proficient in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, or Go)
Hands-on with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS Fargate)

Nice to Have

Experience with geospatial data systems (Redis GEO, H3/S2)
Knowledge of chaos engineering / resilience testing
Familiarity with multi-region, active-active architectures
Experience in cost optimization and FinOps in cloud-native systems
