Biitcode is urgently hiring a Sr. Design Engineer for one of our reputed clients — an Extended Design Office serving global OEMs and end users. The client brings deep expertise across a wide variety of technologies in fuel combustion for steam generation, fired heaters, and waste energy utilization for plant utilities. With a proven track record, they consistently deliver highly efficient, reliable, and cost-effective designs within the shortest design cycle times, located in Pune. Position: Sr. Design Engineer Location: Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune Requisites: · Graduate in Diploma/BE Engineering in Mechanical. · Min 7 years of experience in the field of designing process equipment like boilers, Pressure Vessels, heat exchangers, steel structure, piping, ducts, etc. · Good hands-on experience of IBR calculations, Thermal design, STAAD Pro, CEASER, AUTOCAD, etc · Through the fundamentals of thermodynamics, heat transfer, structural analysis, piping analysis, fluid dynamics, metallurgy, instrumentation and control, electrical, etc · Very good understanding of manufacturing, erection, and transportation techniques for Boiler parts, pressure vessels, steel structure, etc. · Have the skill to work in a team and guide team members &Very good communication skill in Marathi, English. Responsibilities: · To support the Project leader and team. · Prepare design and documents with accuracy and on time. · Punch your man-hour bookings in software daily religiously and accurately · Teach product deep features to juniors through discussions with other team members. · Attend various new product and skill trainings. · Develop high competency in product knowledge and designing techniques · Check your design outputs through the template before releasing them to the customer. · Help project leaders with planning and monitoring of projects · Develop a design plan for the projects to be executed · Attend meetings with customers, end customers, suppliers, and consultants as and when required · Attended weekly project review meetings with concerned team members · Highlight concerns from time to time to project leaders, concern department head and management. · Visit customer, end customer, and vendor's place as required · Coordination with all internal team members for smooth execution of the project. · Attended site visits, meetings for pre-sale and pre-commissioning, commissioning, and troubleshooting calls from customers Interested candidates can WhatsApp their resume on 9136819442 Thanks & regards Sneha Afzalpurkar Biitcode Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year Application Question(s): How many total years of experience do you have in designing process equipment such as boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, and ducting systems?
