In this vital role you will help digitally transform Amgen's Source-to-Settle (S2S) capabilities by joining the Source-to-Settle Enablement Team. As a Business Analyst and Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with product teams, including CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management), R2O (Request-to-Order), and I2S (Invoice-to-Settlement), to drive process efficiency, implement automation solutions, and optimize business workflows. Roles & Responsibilities: Collaborate with Product Owners and System Architects to manage business analysis and automation activities, ensuring alignment with business and product goals. Understand customer needs to shape automated workflows and process enhancements. Define scope and value for new automation developments in collaboration with Product Managers and business stakeholders. Work with Business SMEs and Product Management to refine the Product Backlog for automation opportunities. Identify manual and repetitive processes, proposing and implementing scalable automation solutions. Facilitate the breakdown of Epics into Features and Sprint-Sized User Stories for automation projects. Collaborate with development teams to design and test RPA solutions, ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional requirements. Provide proactive feedback to stakeholders during software development cycles to ensure solutions meet business objectives. Develop and implement effective product demonstrations for automation solutions. Maintain accurate documentation of automated workflows, system configurations, and process changes. Basic Qualifications: Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of information systems or automation experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of information systems or automation experience OR Diploma and 7 to 9 years of information systems or automation experience. Preferred Qualifications: Must-Have Skills: Strong experience with automation tools like UiPath, SAP Process Automation, or Mulesoft. Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and write User Stories in tools like Jira. Hands-on experience with Source-to-Settle systems such as SAP MM, Ariba, and Concur. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience driving projects using Agile principles. Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with stakeholder management, ensuring successful delivery of automation initiatives. Familiarity with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery practices. Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements. Professional Certifications (Preferred): SAFe for Teams certification or relevant Agile certifications. Soft Skills: Exceptional collaboration and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables successfully. Self-motivated with a strong ability to work in cross-functional teams. High degree of initiative and a focus on achieving team goals. Strong presentation skills and the ability to translate technical solutions into business terms.
