Sr. Advocate

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in courts, tribunals, and other legal forums.
• Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal issues, including business, real estate, criminal, civil, and family law matters.
• Draft legal documents, such as petitions, contracts, pleadings, motions, and legal notices.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation, argument development, and strategy formulation.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials, presenting cases before judges, arbitrators, or other adjudicatory bodies.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements between parties, ensuring clients' best interests are served.
• Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for compliance and potential risks.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of cases, including client files, court orders, and other legal documents.
• Stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and legal procedures that may affect clients' cases.
• Prepare case reports, legal opinions, and briefs for clients and senior legal staff.
• Participate in client meetings to understand their legal needs and advise them accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Education: LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from an accredited institution.
• Licensing: Valid license to practice law
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in practicing law in a particular area of law (criminal, corporate, civil, etc.).
• Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of Land Revenue Code Maharashtra Act, Transfer of Property Act, MCA Act, Contract Act, legal procedures, statutes, and regulations.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and colleagues effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases at once.
• Proficiency in legal software and tools for case management and documentation.
• Certifications (optional but preferred):
• Specialization in a specific area of law (e.g., corporate law, intellectual property, etc.) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
