Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in courts, tribunals, and other legal forums. Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal issues, including business, real estate, criminal, civil, and family law matters. Draft legal documents, such as petitions, contracts, pleadings, motions, and legal notices. Conduct legal research to support case preparation, argument development, and strategy formulation. Attend hearings, mediations, and trials, presenting cases before judges, arbitrators, or other adjudicatory bodies. Negotiate settlements and agreements between parties, ensuring clients' best interests are served. Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for compliance and potential risks. Maintain accurate and detailed records of cases, including client files, court orders, and other legal documents. Stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and legal procedures that may affect clients' cases. Prepare case reports, legal opinions, and briefs for clients and senior legal staff. Participate in client meetings to understand their legal needs and advise them accordingly. Qualifications: Education : LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from an accredited institution. Licensing : Valid license to practice law Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in practicing law in a particular area of law (criminal, corporate, civil, etc.). Skills : Excellent knowledge of Land Revenue Code Maharashtra Act, Transfer of Property Act, MCA Act, Contract Act, legal procedures, statutes, and regulations. Strong research, analytical, and writing skills. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and colleagues effectively. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases at once. Proficiency in legal software and tools for case management and documentation. Certifications (optional but preferred): Specialization in a specific area of law (e.g., corporate law, intellectual property, etc.) is a plus.
