Sr. Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at VDA Enterprise Service LLP. To oversee general accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing audits, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Manage general ledger functions and ensure accurate journal entries

- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

- Coordinate and support internal and external audits

- Prepare tax filings and assist with tax planning

- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures

- Provide financial insights and forecasts to support decision-making

- Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work for accuracy

- Bachelor’s /Master'sdegree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles

- Proficiency in accounting software

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- High attention to detail and organizational abilities

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Familiarity with financial reporting tools and dashboards

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Payroll calculation wage calculation, tax deducations and accurate payroll management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
