Job Title: SQL Server Database Administrator Location: Kolkata Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) / MCA Experience: 5+ Years Job Type: Full-Time Essential Requirements: 1. Experience on writing SQL queries , Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. 2. Experience on backups, restores, recovery models, shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication. 3. Experience on creation of database, users, roles, granting roles to the users etc. 4. Experience in connection management, session management, managing issues related to locks. 5. Experience on index management, integrity checks, table partitioning, table space etc. 6. Experience on SQL Server related tools for Performance Optimization, Data Migration etc. 7. Experience on SQL Development with the hands-on ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints). 8. Experience in managing different database servers for Production, UAT, Staging, Development environment. 9. Experience in managing database with large volume of highly secured and sensitive data. 10. Familiarity with the supporting Tools like Jira/Service Now is desired. Essential Qualifications: 1. B.E / B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) / MCA with 5+ years of relevant experience in database development and support in MS SQL Server environments. 2. Experience in Database Administration in SQL Server (2019, 2016, 2014, 2012). 3. Knowledge on Postgres / Oracle will be treated as additional qualification. Ready for your next career move?
